Nacer Wins The Nokere Koerse!


The Team Cofidis rider came out ahead in the sprint of this Belgian race, showing that he is more than ready for his first major goal of the year: Milan-San Remo.

Nacer Bouhanni has earned his first victory of the season (the second for Team Cofidis), after finishing ahead in the sprint at the Nokere Koerse, the 192.3 km Belgian classic with nine climbs through the Nokereberg.
The French cyclist from Team Cofidis was the fastest on his Orca, easily winning against British rider Adam Blythe and Belgian cyclist Joeri Stallaert, who finished second and third, respectively. With this result, the French rider bolstered his chances before his first major goal of the season: Milan-San Remo.
