Shimano WH-MT501 - 29'' Rear Wheel - Centerlock - Boost -Micro Spline
The handmade Shimano WH-MT501 29 inch wheel is very tenable and reliable. 24 double-butted stainless steel spokes ensure its stability. The wheel with Centerlock disc brake mount and E-Thru standard offers simple handling and workability. The hub feature high-quality contact and labyrinth seals as well as cup and cone bearings for smooth rolling and best performance. Last but not least the 29" rear wheel features the Micro Spline freewheel which makes it possible to install Shimano 12-speed cassettes.
Version for 12 x 148 mm E-Thru Boost axles.
Micro Spline
The aluminium freewheel with 22 evenly spaced teeth keeps the cassette firmly under control for immediate response and also allows the use of a 10 teeth sprocket. In addition, the smaller and compared to the usual Hyperglide freewheel bodies more extensive gearing prevents rotor damage.
